hydroculture
Simply: pot plant without soil.
Why it is interesting?
The indoor conditions are not resemble to a greenhouse where plants were grown, handled by professionals. Where the temperature is always ideal, there are plenty of light, water and food. They have to adapt to the worse circumstances at the new place. In the building there is shade, dry air, no gardener, often no food, but mostly bad watering habit. No wonder the plants lose their beauty quickly. Just to avoid it was developed the hydroculture system. The plants are in expanded clay granulate insead of soil. No need replant. Watermeter shows the actual water amount in the holder. Anybody can know – if once learnt – what is the time of irrgation and what amount should give actually, avoiding the overwatering. The plants can be supply again and again with slow release complete fertilizer. The beauty of hydroplants do not decline, after a time they’ll become even nicer.
What are the advanteges of the system?
- Less watering frequency.
- No need replant and the additional cost and mess.
- The volume of expanded clay granulates do not reduce, the plants do not lean out after a time.
- The long term fertilizer enough for half year, after this period can be given again.
- Among the stabil conditions, the well watered, supplied plants will not ruin, generally after a few month, will have more leaves then arrived.
